Getting your armed security license in Fort Worth
To work armed in Texas you need the Level II course and the Level III commissioned officer course, then a commission issued by Texas DPS through the TOPS portal. With us, you do the classroom portion online on your own schedule, then attend one in-person training day for hands-on skills and the live-fire qualification. Training day locations are listed when you book, so you can pick the date and place that work for you. The full process is in our guide, how to become a security officer in Texas.
